Employment types

Everyday guidance for FACOM employees. Where a local site or country policy is more specific, that policy applies.

FACOM hires into a small number of standard employment types so that pay, benefits and scheduling are predictable.

  • Regular full-time — scheduled for the site's standard full-time hours; eligible for the full benefits package.
  • Regular part-time — a reduced but consistent schedule; several benefits are pro-rated.
  • Fixed-term — hired for a defined project or period.
  • Seasonal — hired to cover peak production or demand periods.

Your offer letter states your employment type, work location and reporting line.
